Food Bank of South Central Michigan

The event began on Saturday afternoon at the Food Bank of South Central Michigan. After an informative tour of their amazing facility, members rolled up their sleeves and got to work. About 2,400 pounds of bulk pasta was repackaged and 1,000 pounds of onions were sorted, all in preparation for the food to be distributed to people in need.

In addition to the hands-on service, members also delivered hundreds of pounds of canned fruit they had collected prior to the event.

Motown Madness Dinner Event

After brushing off the pasta dust and washing off the aroma of stinky onions, the girlfriends put on their flashiest Motown apparel and embarked on an evening of well-deserved fun.

Following a cocktail reception and dinner, they danced the night away to their favorite Motown hits performed by Hitsville Review, from Chicago, IL. The entertainment continued during the band's break, with Chapter 807 MI member Jenny Baker, who performed a stand-up comedy routine filled with hilarious observations about everyday life.

Southern Exposure Herb Farm

On Sunday morning, members enjoyed touring the grounds of Southern Exposure Herb Farm, one of the most beautiful places you will ever visit.

After their leisurely exploration of the grounds, members came together for a gourmet lunch and then created an herb-inspired craft to take home.
