Past National Conventions

FRIENDSHIP, FUN AND FRATERNALISM take center stage when members from across the country meet at the Woman's Life National Conventions.

2010 - San Antonio, Texas

San Antonio's famous River Walk, the historic Alamo, guided river tours, dancing and laughing with good friends at the Denim & Diamonds Reception and Dinner were all a part of the 32nd National Convention held at the Hilton Palacio del Rio Hotel.

Tours of the Buckhorn Hall of Horns Saloon, Aldaco's restaurant, Sea World of San Antonio and the Texas Hill Country gave members and guests the opportunity to explore San Antonio while making life-long friends.

2006 - St. Louis, Missouri

Beautiful lush gardens, the sunset behind the arch at night, dancing and laughing with good friends--it was all a part of the 31st National Convention held at the Adam's Mark Hotel located in the heart of downtown St. Louis.

St. Louis is one of the premiere family travel destinations in the Midwest. Members and guests in attendance enjoyed touring the beautiful Missouri Botanical Gardens, the Gateway Arch and the St. Louis Zoo, ranked the number one zoo/animal park in the nation.

2002 - Orlando, Florida

Walt Disney World Boardwalk Resort was the perfect location to celebrate the magic of fraternalism for our 30th National Convention. The resort elegantly captured the Victorian-era with the sights and sounds of a charming, turn-of-the-century seaside hotel.

The three day convention was packed full of magical memories like visits from Mickey Mouse and all of his friends, a private Caribbean Beach party at Typhoon Lagoon Water Park and simply enjoying one of the world's most popular vacation spots...the wonderful world of Disney.

1998 - Minneapolis, Minnesota

The 29th National Convention was held at the Minneapolis/St. Paul Airport Hilton and provided a great opportunity to meet new friends, renew old aquaintances and experience all that the "Twin Cities" area had to offer.

Former first lady, Barbara Bush, was in attendance with words of admiration for the hard work that Woman's Life had contributed towards the literacy cause. Members and guests enjoyed a wonderful performance of "Brigadoon" and an elegant dinner at the Chanhassen Dinner Theatre, while our younger attendees were thrilled to be a part of our "Kids Day Out" at the Minnesota Zoo.
