The Society will match $1 for each $1 raised by Woman's Life members through fundraising on a project initiated and organized by the Woman's Life chapter.
Matching Funds Program Request Form
To raise funds for their chapter scholarship, members of Woman's Life Chapter 811 Harbor Beach, Michigan sold tickets for chances to win one of three rifles. The winners were drawn as deer season opened in Michigan, just in time for a few lucky hunters to head into the woods. They raised $1,293 with matching funds which will enable them to support college-bound young ladies from Michigan's Thumb Region as they pursue their dreams.
Chapter 611 Port Huron, Michigan held a Holiday Candle Sale to benefit the Hunter Hospitality House. The Michigan-made candles came in several colors and scents that smelled so wonderful that it was hard to decide which ones to buy. The event raised $387, with matching funds, and will support Hunter Hospitality House, a non-profit organization that provides a place to stay for people with loved ones receiving treatment at Port Huron Hospital.
Woman's Life Chapter 817, "Je t'aime", Southfield, Michigan was proud to take part in the Light the Night walk to benefit the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. They helped raise awareness for the cause as they collected donations from family and friends and participated in the walk along with thousands of people across the U.S. and Canada. Their total donation of $808, including matching funds, will help LLS fund research and provide services so that patients with blood cancers can live better, longer lives.
