Members of Chapter 703 Indianapolis, Indiana used a Volunteer Service Project Grant from Woman's Life to purchase baskets and packing material. Member Theresa Peck collected donations from local businesses and the group gathered to pack a total of 40 Welcome Baskets for individuals who come to the Hope House in Greenfield, Indiana.
The creation of warm, colorful fleece blankets continues to be a popular project for Woman's Life chapters. Members of Chapter 813 Ubly, Michigan used a $500 Volunteer Service Project Grant to purchase materials to make blankets to be distributed to families in need in Huron County.
Members of Chapter 611 Port Huron used Volunteer Service Project Grant funds to purchase the materials to create 16 fleece blankets. These warm and snuggly blankets were donated to Marwood Manor where they were given as Christmas gifts to residents with no family. Volunteer Service Projects like this are what Woman's Life chapters do all year long, adding warmth and comfort to the lives of others.
