About Benefit Membership

Benefit Membership

There are two ways to join Woman's Life. You may join as a social member or as a benefit member. Both social and benefit members have access to the same valuable benefits of membership including:

  • Fun with friends in chapter activities;
  • The joy of helping others through meaningful chapter endeavors; and
  • Staying healthy with the Good Health Benefits.

The difference is that a benefit member is covered by an individual life insurance policy or annuity contract with Woman's Life.

Why should I consider benefit membership?

The chief advantages of benefit membership are very personal. Members who have purchased life insurance and annuities have taken important steps toward their goals of financial independence and securing bright financial futures for themselves and their families. Benefit membership also grants the right to have a voice in the operations of Woman's Life through the delegate process of governance.

Why does Woman's Life offer life insurance and annuities?

Financial security for women was the main reason Woman's Life was started more than a century ago. Since that time the need for access to financial education and financial products has intensified. We continue to believe that life insurance and retirement annuities are the foundation of a solid financial program for our members.

In addition, the premium dollars from benefit members, coupled with our sound business operation, allow us to maintain the chapter support benefits that collectively contribute to the volunteer and fundraising efforts of our chapters and the well-being of the communities in which our chapters are located.

For these reasons we encourage you to consider becoming a benefit member when you join Woman's Life or during your social membership. Every new and continuing benefit member makes an additional contribution, beyond her chapter affiliation and activities, to our mutual success and the strength of Woman's Life.
