National President’s
Message
his issue of Woman’s Life magazine includes our annual report. We are
pleased to provide you with the financial updates from 2022.
T As always, this past year was about Woman’s Life living our mission and
serving you — our members. Providing financial products and educational re-
sources to help women and their families build financial security while creating
opportunities and providing financial support for community outreach have been
at the heart of everything we’ve done since we were founded in 1892.
Woman’s Life has many things to be proud of coming out of 2022. Premiums
continue to grow with our life insurance and annuity products being the tools with
which we help our members build a strong financial future. Community impact,
primarily through chapter activity, remained strong with more than $2,000,000 in
time, talent, tangible donations, and supporting funds invested into our members’
communities across the United States.
We are also happy to report positive net income in 2022. As a fraternal benefit so-
ciety, Woman’s Life is a not-for-profit entity; however, financial stability is important
to the future of our organization. Positive net income and growth allow us to invest
in the development of new products and services to best serve our membership.
In the pages that follow, National Treasurer Julie Jagoda provides her annual
high-level report on our financial results. In it, she highlights factors like the growth
in surplus, our conservative investment approach, and the more than $14.1 million
paid in certificate benefits. These are just some of the reasons we are proud of our
performance in 2022 and have confidence as we face the challenges ahead.
We work every day to continue to earn the confidence and trust that you have
placed in us to help you prepare for a secure financial future. Trust Your Intuition,
Trust Woman’s Life!
Sincerely,
Christopher Martin
National President
