Members of Woman’s Life Chapter 865 Southfield, Michigan, helped children in need during the Southfield Public Schools’ Back to School Fair. Chapter members packed 150 backpacks for school-age children and gave them away during the fair. What a wonderful way to help children in need!
For many years, the gardeners of Woman’s Life Chapter 757 Port Huron, Michigan, have cared for the gardens at the Port Huron Museum, often with the help of a Volunteer Service Grant from Woman’s Life. This year was no exception. Members cleaned and weeded the garden beds, then purchased mulch, plantings, trees, and trim for the gardens. Thank you for making the museum grounds and the community a beautiful place to be!
Members of Woman’s Life Chapter 827 Canton, Michigan, held a unique fundraiser for Healing Hearts Therapeutic Farm, an organization that provides safe healing through animal assisted interventions for those who have experienced trauma or loss. Participants spent a memorable evening at the farm learning about its mission and putting the animals in for the night. The fun continued with a bonfire, s’mores, and new friendships. Including Matching Funds from Woman’s Life, the chapter raised $1,640 for this amazing cause.
