Members of Woman’s Life Chapter 911 Macomb, Michigan utilized a Woman’s Life Volunteer Service Project Grant to purchase the materials for and assemble
together four raised garden beds for a new community garden. They filled each bed with compost and topsoil, with plans to plant vegetables in them. This
community garden will help provide fresh food to local families in need. What a fabulous way to GROW a community!
Blankets for Clinic
When a member of Woman’s Life Chapter 920 Marysville, Michigan began going to a clinic to receive dialysis treatments, her fellow members
wanted to show their support. The chapter decided to create lap blankets for her and other patients undergoing treatments. They gathered to
sew the blankets and presented them to the clinic. This is an excellent example of the way our chapters support their fellow members and the
Community Baby Shower
Woman’s Life Chapter 927 Lexington, Michigan held a diaper, book, and food drive to support the Sanilac County Community Baby Shower. This event provided much needed items to
new mothers and those with small children. What a fantastic way to support local families in need!
