Lunch For Essential Workers
Essential workers continue to work tirelessly to combat the effects of COVID-19 on our communities and members of Woman’s Life Chapter
817 Southfield, Michigan wanted to show their appreciation for the dedication of these workers. Members gathered monetary donations and used the
funds to purchase lunch for essential workers throughout the summer. Their first stop was a local senior living center. What a fantastic way
to continue supporting those on the pandemic frontlines!
Sanilac County Historic Museum
Members of Woman’s Life Chapter 927 Lexington, Michigan spent their Saturday working on the new walking path at the Sanilac County Historic Museum. Armed with an array of tools,
chapter members cut down brush, spread mulch, and beautified the trail. Great job getting outside and giving back!
Woman’s Life Chapter 611 Port Huron, Michigan organized a collection for Kids In Distress (KIDS), a local non-profit organization. KIDS provides necessary clothing and personal
hygiene items when children and teens are unexpectedly removed from their homes. Donations were collected at Woman’s Life Home Office and included diapers, underwear,
socks, soap, jackets and more. What a great way to show their support for young people in need!
