Pancake Breakfast

Pancake Breakfast

Smooth like syrup, Woman’s Life Chapter 802 Port Huron, Michigan held an All-You-Can-Eat Pancake Breakfast at the Lakeport Family Diner! The matched proceeds (from Woman’s Life Insurance Society) benefited S.O.N.S. Ministry, an organization that disciples urban youth and positively influences their families and environment. Members Lisa, Gin, Jen, Genie, Jamie, and several volunteers helped serve guests heaping portions of chocolate, blueberry, and banana pancakes – along with whipped cream and fresh maple syrup. Who’s ready for breakfast now?

Car Wash & Bake Sale

Car Wash & Bake Sale

On a beautiful day, members of Woman’s Life Chapter 72 Kaukauna, Wisconsin hosted a Bake Sale & Car Wash, to raise money for gifting local seniors a Christmas bag of goodies. Members will prepare Gift Bags for residents of 3 local nursing homes: St Paul’s Home, ManorCare Health Services, and Rennes Health & Rehab Center. You may ask, “Why is this chapter supporting seniors?” Chapter 72 members are excited to spread cheer to some of our older and sometimes forgotten senior citizens who helped shape charitable values – and to say thank you! The Bake Sale and Car Wash combo grossed over $1000.00 with Woman’s Life Matching Funds!

Hold on to your hat! Woman’s Life Chapter 836 Port Huron, Michigan members flew right out of the gates by partnering with the Salvation Army’s Woman’s Auxiliary to offer a festive, Kentucky Derby Purse Shopping Fundraiser! Proceeds from the purchase of new and gently used purses supported children in St. Clair County. In addition to volunteering at the event, Chapter 836 members donated and collected purses. Thanks to a match from Woman’s Life Insurance Society, the chapter donated $1,000 to the cause. Members Susan and Linda are winners hands down!
