It’s officially Spring, but this story goes back to the cold, snow-filled days of Winter. Members of Woman’s Life Chapter 808 Clyde, Michigan
collected donations of winter hats, scarves, and warm gloves to donate to Mid-City Nutrition. Though the members may be wearing winter gear, they
are such a bright and colorful bunch!
Woman’s Life Chapter 864 Clarkston, Michigan members knew action was needed when they heard about the Lucas family’s struggle last
year. The local family had been struggling financially with the father’s medical treatment of Parkinson’s disease. Special
exercise and yoga helps to relieve the pain and slow the progression of the disease, however much of this was not covered through insurance.
So the chapter set out determined to help other local families affected by this disease afford this therapy, by hosting a Euchre Fundraiser.
With matching funds from Woman’s Life Insurance Society, the chapter raised $3,245.00 to donate to the Michigan Parkinson Foundation
in honor of #LucasStrong. How awesome is that?
Making A Difference
Taking action on causes dear to their hearts, last year members of Woman’s Life Chapter 800 Fort Gratiot, Michigan headed to the bank with Tracy,
founder of Hunter Hospitality House (HHH). This chapter donated a check for $2,630.00 from their 50/50 fundraiser during HHH’s signature
fundraiser! Now that’s making a difference!
