Chapter Support Programs – Matching Funds Program
The Society will match $1 for each $1 raised by Woman’s Life members through fundraising on a project initiated and organized by the Woman’s Life chapter.
- Each fundraiser must be pre-approved by Home Office.
- The fundraiser must benefit a needy person(s) or a not-for-profit organization.
- Up to $500 per project will be matched, up to $5,000 per year per chapter for the total of all matching funds and volunteer service project grants.
- The chapter can do multiple projects for one recipient as well as select a number of different project recipients.
- Minimum of 5 chapter members must work on the project.

Family Night Fun
Members of Woman’s Life Chapter 800 Fort Gratiot, Michigan, continued their annual tradition of supporting Operation Transformation, a faith-based organization who works with service organizations to meet the needs of the Blue Water community. Members raised $783 selling pop, chips, water and candy to the crowd during Port Huron Boat Week Family Night. Their contribution to Operation Transformation was $1,283 thanks to the generous $500 Matching Funds from Woman’s Life Insurance Society!
Coloring Out Cancer
Members of Woman’s Life Chapter 883 Algonac, Michigan, in conjunction with the Algonac High School National Honor Society, support individuals fighting cancer through their Color Out Cancer Run. This year’s run was special, as it supported one of Chapter 883’s own members diagnosed with cancer. The run raised $3,400, including Matching Funds from Woman’s Life, to help her with medical expenses related to cancer treatment.
Raffle for Kids’ Sake
Members of Woman’s Life Chapter 836 Port Huron, Michigan, kicked up their spurs in support of the St. Clair County Child Abuse and Neglect Council. The chapter sold raffle tickets to win a cowboy hat adorned with lottery tickets. The raffle was a huge success! Including Matching Funds from Woman’s Life, the chapter raised $1,370 to help prevent child abuse and neglect in their community.
